On July 22, 2026, the Senate released an updated draft of the Clarity Act. Since then, companies and industry groups have voiced support for the legislation, urging the Senate to advance the bill to the floor and ultimately pass the Clarity Act.

Supporters include traditional financial institutions, technology companies, and crypto industry organizations such as Fidelity, Blackrock, Goldman Sachs, Block, Franklin Templeton, DCG,  and Solana Policy Institute. Trade associations backing the legislation include the Consumer Technology Association, the National Black Church Initiative, and the three major crypto industry trades — Blockchain Association, Crypto Council for Innovation, and the Digital Chamber.

As mentioned in previous newsletters, the Clarity Act has also received support from law enforcement organizations, including the Fraternal Order of Police, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, and most recently, the Major Cities Chiefs Association.

The Blockchain Association has launched “Clarity for America,” a new tool that enables constituents and organizations to draft letters to Senate leadership urging a floor vote on the Clarity Act. The tool uses AI to generate personalized letters for those interested in supporting the legislation.
